Kodak, Design Research & Cultural Understanding

Working with a Senior Design Anthropologist from Kodak’s Corporate Design and Usability division who visited the UK from the US headquarters. A module of ethnographic research across the UK with a focus on cultural interpretation of the use of mobile devices and cameras was carried out. The research was used to develop a historic baseline of the use of photographic devices by participants, understand the motivation of people, identify how phone cameras fit in with
other technologies that people use to take photographs and understand how images are stored and shared.
