Companies we have worked with in the UK, France, Spain and the USA have written a few words about us.
Richard encouraged us to innovate our approach to insights. The programme he structured in response to our product development brief has produced exciting new opportunity areas which traditional methods didn’t expose. His obvious enthusiasm for the subject area and rapport with our diverse team has made the first project highly valuable to the organisation. Jane Perry, Marketing Manager, Kenwood, United Kingdom.
Have directly managed Richard on the very large and challenging innovation in learning programme for Government Digital Services, Cabinet Office in HM Government and found him extremely capable, knowledgeable and, importantly, amiable and good-natured. He is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him highly! Thomas F. Bryant, Senior Digital Skill & Talent Strategist, Government Digital Service, Cabinet Office, United Kingdom.
Richard is someone we really enjoy working with. Not only does he fully understand our projects and their objectives, but he is also proactive regarding the practical needs of the project and the necessary methodology. This has been very helpful when co-ordinating UK fieldwork as part of international projects. Overall, Richard is a great partner, he has a rigorous and meticulous approach to fieldwork and is always available to discuss his thoughts and help us analyze (very hands-on!). We would definitely recommend Richard to anyone who needs to carry out ethnographic fieldwork in the UK. Aurélie Besch, Innovation Business Developer and Strategist, InProcess, France.
Richard has worked with Mormedi doing field research prep, execution and analysis in a number of European countries. Working with him was a pleasure – he is a great team player, an experienced field researcher and he did a great job pulling out relevant insights into the final analysis. Juliane Trummer, Strategy and Insight Director, Mormedi, Madrid, Spain.
Richard was a key member of the research team for WISE KIDS which I led – working on a landmark project for Wales, the ‘Generation 2000’ Research Programme. This qualitative and quantitative project, which was lead by WISE KIDS and co-funded by the Children’s Commissioner for Wales, Logicalis and S4C, studied the Internet and Digital Media Habits and Digital Literacies of Year 9 pupils (13 and 14year olds) in Wales. Richard was one of the main researchers involved in the qualitative work, and his experience, expertise and insights were invaluable, when working with the young people – and as a member of the team setting the strategy for the qualitative interviews. He was also great to work with generally, very professional, and flexible when needed. I recommend him highly to lead or be a member of a team involved in qualitative research. Dr Sangeet Bhullar, Founder, WISE KIDS, United Kingdom.
Richard has been a very reliable field partner in the UK for one of our key international projects. It was a pleasure working with him throughout all project phases: very clear understanding of project requirements, very insightful fieldwork, through building rapport with participants and focusing on the key objectives, and overall detailed analysis. Richard was also very adaptable to project changes, proactively anticipating hurdles and proposing solutions.” Sorina Manica Consultant, A Piece of Pie, Barcelona, Spain.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Richard. He provided unique expertise during a groundbreaking project we did with AARP and thorough recommendations for ethnographic field work in the United States, all within very tight deadlines. He has been accessible, flexible, meticulous, enthusiastic, and an invaluable contributor to the success of this project. Dr. Moshe Engelberg, President, ResearchWorks Inc, USA.
Richard plays a central in our user research projects at Rodd. He has brought critical experience, rigour and humility to the various projects we have collaborated on to date. Ben Davies, Managing Director, RODD/, United Kingdom.
